This is a sweet project. I was looking to do the same thing for my shop door, only using a keypad to trigger the lock and unlock sequence. For sure I am going to use your magnetic switch to prevent locking while door is opening.
My question is what size servo did you use to rotate the deadbolt?
What is the entropy of these serial numbers? (How many digits are they and how much do USB keys from the same manufacturer differ? Are the keys guaranteed to be globally unique like ethernet mac addresses?) How long would it take for a device that simulated a usb key and repeatedly tried different serial numbers to open the door?
Depending on the answer to these questions, does it make sense to have cryptographic keys? Does it make sense to have a failure mode in the event that multiple bad keys are presented repeatedly or would the consequences of that simply be an easy denial of service attack?
I'm going to go with needing to take a piss. Why would you start undressing on the way to a quickie? Wouldn't undressing be part of the fun? I think so.
I remember my mother going on this diet fifty years ago.
Sliced bananas with skim milk. I am positive it will help
with weight loss if for no other reason than after about
days of only eating sliced banans and skim milk you'll be so
tired of eating the same thing every meal that you will eat
less and will thereby reduce your calorie intake and will
therefore loose weight.
Anyone for the Chocolet Cake Diet. It is simple. All you
eat is chocolet cake - nothing else. After a few days you
tire of chocolet cake so you eat less, reduce your calorie
intake and, therefore, lose weight.
To lose weight burn more calories than you consume. Eat less
and move more. It works everytime.
