I think it's high time I have another one of these. Perhaps more people will play this time. So here's the deal folks, just like last time I'd like you all to offer suggestions for things to go on the list. See the first list for inspiration. You can find the results here. The ones no one found from the last Google Hunt will be put on the new list.

Rules:

• All items on the list must be found via Google.
• Participants must provide a link to the item and the search term used to yield the result. Single hops only folks, if you have to go through several pages(non-Google ones) to find the item, refine your search term to get to it directly or you can't use it.
• Extra points will be provided for Google Cache links.
• Any Google site is permitted including international ones.
• Links must not be owned by the participant. Meaning you can use my site as a reference, but I can't.
• Participants will e-mail the results to googlehunt@strages.net

So now that you know everything there is to know about the contest, leave me some suggestions in the comments while I work out an adequate prize for the winner.

I have in my possession two copies of My Secret: A PostSecret Book that I am willing to give away, but under one condition. I would like everyone who visits my site to make a postcard-esque image with your secret on it and leave it in the comments for this post. You may post as many as you like and I ask that you use the made up e-mail address of anonymous@strages.net to post. I will select two of these posts that I feel would benefit the most from owning this book, and make some form of arrangement to get them to these people should they want to provide a place to send it. I ask that if it's you "postcard" that I choose to work with me on getting you the book. Get working on those "postcards" folks, this is one hell of a book.

Use free image hosting services to keep it more anonymous. Please use common sense and keep the images small but readable. Possibly link to the larger image by clicking a smaller one.

As you'll see a few of them weren't attempted but she at least tried to provide google cache links for most everything she did find. Only one person was disqualified from the contest, namely because he didn't follow the rather simple instructions I layed out for the contest when submitting his results. Now that you all see how easy this contest was, perhaps we could have more participants next time and a large list. Fell free to leave Google Hunt #2 search suggestions in the comments...

Basically a scavenger hunt only using Google and only Google. Contest will last for 1 week and 1 week only. End date will be Wednesday, October 5th.

I hereby claim the meme of google hunt *pounds fist on table*! It's a scavenger hunt for obscure photos, files, songs, etc only using google.

• Only links to items will be accepted.
• Links will be submited in a txt document to a neutral server. Server to be announced.
• Person with the most items on the list wins.
• You must be able to prove the site doesn't belong to you.
• You must include the search term used that yielded the result.
• Extra points for google cache links, because it adds to the validity of your claim and saves on leg work for the judges.

I'll work on a list and setup a server and present it here in the next week or so. Suggestions for items on the list are more than welcome, just leave them in the comments.
